10-Year/100,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty

Applying to original owners of new, retailed Mitsubishi models purchased from an authorized Mitsubishi dealer, this warranty covers the replacement or repair of select transmission,engine, and transaxle powertrain components installed by Mitsubishi that may become defective under normal use and maintenance as well as authorized Mitsubishi powertrain components installed by an authorized Mitsubishi dealer. Coverage is for 10 years or 100,000 miles for most models (5 years or 60,000 miles for Lancer Evolution, Lancer Ralliart and i-MiEV models). Any subsequent owners receive the balance of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

5-Year/60,000-Mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers all of the parts in your new Mitsubishi for 5 years or 60,000 miles, with the exception of air conditioner refrigerant, battery, light bulbs and select entertainment/navigation system components (these all carry their own warranties). For Lancer Ralliart, i-MiEV and Lancer Evolution models, this coverage is for 3 years or 36,000 miles. If any covered part fails during the coverage period, it will be replaced or repaired at Mentor Mitsubishi or another authorized Mitsubishi dealer or service center using genuine Mitsubishi parts.

7-Year/100,000-Mile Anti-Corrosion/Perforation Limited Warranty

Covers perforation or in simple terms, metal rust-through, in outer body sheet metal panels due to corrosion for 7 years or 100,000 miles for every new Mitsubishi, including Lancer Evolution, Ralliart and i-MiEV models. Coverage excludes corrosion due to damage, abuse, abnormal use, vehicle alterations, accidents or contact with corrosive material such as salt, hail, sand, stones, chemicals, fertilizers or acids.

In addition to these fantastic warranties, every new Mitsubishi also comes with Restraint System coverage for airbags and seat belts of 5 years or 60,000 miles under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. If required as a result of a manufacturing defect, there is 12 months or 12,000 miles coverage for adjustments.

If you're ever in an unfortunate situation and need access to roadside assistance, Mitsubishi has you covered for five full years (3 years/36,000 miles for Mitsubishi i-MiEV), regardless of mileage.


24-hour Emergency Roadside Assistance covers:
  • Jump starts in the event of a dead battery
  • Exchange of a flat tire with your inflated spare
  • Emergency fuel and fluid delivery
  • Towing to the nearest Mitsubishi dealer or other approved service point if your vehicle is not drivable
  • Mechanical "first aid" for minor roadside repairs or adjustments
  • Lockout assistance to gain entry into your vehicle

Trip Interruption

If your vehicle is disabled due to a warrantable condition and you are more than 150 miles from home and your vehicle has to be kept overnight for repairs, the Roadside Assistance Plan will reimburse for reasonable documented expenses for lodging, transportation and meals up to $175.00 per day for a maximum of three days. You must obtain prior authorization from the Roadside Assistance Provider to be eligible for this benefit.

Concierge Service

In the case of a delay associated with a roadside breakdown, we will arrange to make or change your reservation. At your request, we will notify your colleagues to inform them of a delay or take care of any other necessary details to help with any inconvenience.

If needed, the concierge service will also arrange overnight accommodations at a hotel or existing reservations can be changed as needed due to delays.

We will also help you in finding phone numbers of tourist bureaus nationwide and will transfer you to the bureau of your choice to receive information regarding that area. We will also help you locate the nearest ATM using your specific network, according to the area code and prefix from which you call.
